We are inviting you to the next gathering of the Cross-Media Working Lab at Yolo Art Center in Balat Istanbul in the frame of the Kit Runner activities in 2022. The Cross-Media Lab will take place next Saturday Nov 12th between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm Istanbul time.
Within the next Lab will introduce you how to use a gimbal and what other tools we have to improve with video work with mobile devices. During the second part of the session Adnan will give an introduction to mobile photography.
Participants who will come by public transportation will get an reimbursement for the transportation costs. During the session we will offer some refreshments and snacks.
Looking forward to see you all next Saturday.
Until the end of December participants will be introduced to hardware tools as smart phones, tripods, additional mics, gimbals as well to online postproduction tools like wevideo.
We are looking for participants mostly from Afghanistan and beyond but not only with and without journalistic experiences. Ideal participants would have several of these qualities: – Experience, interest or enthusiasm about video, film-making, and journalism – Passion about the social justice, equality, and human rights, wellbeing, and democratic processes – Experience, expertise or enthusiasm about local communities – Artistic, design or communication skills – Interest into community-friendly practices.
The lab takes place at Yolo Art Center:
