Drawing Workshop with Nora Byrne: 11th of May 2024, 2 pm – 4 pm, online:
For this week’s workshop, Nora will start to focus on human anatomy, beginning with the skull & face. Using portraiture as a point of exploration, we will look at spectrums of realism, abstraction, and symbolism. Students will be asked to give an overview of recent work, identifying elements they are proud of and one point of improvement to focus on. Practice will be conducted in pen or pencil, depending on the preference of the student, but instructed for black and white or a single colour to focus on shapes and value.
