The movie Blind, ins Auge (Blind, into the Eye) by Atefeh Kheirabadi and Mehrad Sepahnia examines the targeted violence during the 2022–23 Iran protests and sheds light on the powerful role of images in the political context. The film shows the editing process, in which the authors mix subjective and objective narratives.

Atefeh Kheirabadi is currently artist in residency of the Taraby Cultural Academy in Istanbul. Both artists are living and working in Berlin, Germany.

The talk and the screening at postane Istanbul will take place in cooperation with Tarabya Cultural Academy and the Goethe-Institut Istanbul on the occasion of the Mahalla Festival in the frame of parallel events of the 18th Istanbul Biennial.
