The next Storytelling Lab will take place on Saturday 29th at 5 pm Istanbul time at postane and online. During the lesson we will watch the movie Taxi Malta by Martina Camilleri, Major Sium, Sabine Küper-Büsch and Thomas Büsch, produced 2021 in Malta.
The movie tells a story of emancipation from patriarchal traditions by three generations of Hazara women: the director herself, her niece and her mother. Noori lets us see from a family window how life changed after the crucial fall of Kabul and the arrival of Taliban in the country.
We are pleased to invite you all to our open online event about Queer people rights in Afghanistan. The panel wants to offer an in-depth discussion on the lived realities of queer Afghans.The meeting will be led by two Afghan exiles, Shazad Mudasir and Somaia Walizadeh, who will engage in dialogue with three guest speakers: Artemis Akbary, Dayana Daneshwar and Idris.
