Hi, I am Safi Noorzai marketer and UI developer. Born and raised in Kandahar and got experiences between the cultural crossroads of India, Uzbekistan, Turkiye, my professional journey began in the halls of Afghanistan’s government but found its true calling in the streets.
I am an Afghan journalist, writer, women’s rights advocate, and cultural activist and also a poet and fiction writer, I am active in various cultural fields.
The movie tells a story of emancipation from patriarchal traditions by three generations of Hazara women: the director herself, her niece and her mother. Noori lets us see from a family window how life changed after the crucial fall of Kabul and the arrival of Taliban in the country.
