Recording of the Cross Media Lab on July 15th 2023 at Postane Istanbul in the frame of the Kite Runner activities.
During the lab we were showing the short movie Mosul My Home by Thomas Büsch and Sabine Küper-Büsch introducing the artist Adalet R. Garmiany preparing art works and a movie in Mosul after the Islamic State had left Mosul. This short movie was produced in Northern Iraq, 2019 for the Austrian TV channel ORF.
After the screening and a brief presentation of the Media Lab program for the next 2 months, the photographer Jawad Jalali gave an introduction to his photography work he did in Afghanistan before he came to Turkey.
