Podcasts are a type of media that can be used to process content from anywhere in the world. You can choose how to make, host, and distribute the episodes.
The Kite Runner is currently engaged in several Podcast-Projects. In the future, “Voices from the Afghan Art Scene” will be a Platform about Afghan Art and Artists from Afghanistan.
Additionally, we will support and coach authors in developing their own projects as podcasts as well.
We are producing in working groups of professionals and newcomers in the media field to create a supportive working environment.
Our professional coach for podcast is Hazal Sipahi. She is working close connected to the progressive Turkish media circles, does Podcasts for T24 and also produces independently.
Hazal Sipahi is an experienced podcaster based in Istanbul, who has developed various formats, including “Mental Klitoris”, a reflection on youth culture, health and sexuality, and others. She will provide guidance to participants on the production and development of a Podcast.
We are going to discover the different Platforms for Podcasts and will learn how to write scripts, record podcasts, how to publish and promote them.
